Author Guidelines

Australian Academy of Accounting and Finance Review (AAAFR) is devoted to publish original, rigorous, well-done empirical research (both quantitative and non-quantitative) as well as theoretical /conceptual research papers having potential for field applications and in-depth literature reviews. The Journal will also showcase the current research works to be presented by researchers in the international conferences of the Australian Academy of Business Leadership in different parts of the globe. Articles focusing on theory building or testing based on empirical research with strong managerial focus are especially encouraged. The papers submitted to this journal should have significant implications for academics and practitioners in real world situations.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.

  3. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  4. The text is doubled-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

  5. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

  7. The submission is prepared in accordance with author’s guidelines.

  8. The submission has a title page and for blind review purposes; the title page is separated and all the author details are kept anonymous. Please see a sample Title Page. If the research is supported (entirely or partially) from an external grant provider, it is acknowledged on the title page.

  9. A structured ‘Abstract’ is prepared and shown both on the title page and on the body of the submission.

  10. In case of multiple authors, the corresponding author has received consent from all the authors about the submission.

  11. The submission meets the ethical guidelines and legal requirements of a country under study.

  12. The submission does not have a conflict of interest with any parties.

  13. The submission does not contain any unlawful contents that may harm/pose a threat to the business, people and society.

  14. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
